Addiction, Trauma, Depression, and Anxiety often lead to a sense of isolation and a feeling of disconnection from others. A powerful aspect of recovery is community and a sense of belonging. The Sanctuary is more than a residential treatment center and more like a community due to our small size, our family-style meals, the availability of staff who live and work here, and the beauty of Sedona. The Sanctuary feels like home even for clients who have never felt a sense of safety or home in their lives.
Our alumni community is strong, supportive, and vibrant. Every Sunday we open to our alums who will often participate in the Sunday activities and meals. We also have a weekly alumni support zoom call every Saturday morning facilitated by one of the staff.
