Thank you for a wonderful healing experience! I was suffering from CPTSD after having dealt with an entire lifetime of narcissistic abuse from my mom, brother and ex-husband.The staff members are all so caring, we as clients built our own community or 'tribe' and the land and nature, the desert and the creek help to heal the soul.My goal as I reintregrate into society following this wonderful, amazing experience is to incorporate some of what I learned to build and create a healing community of my own back home at Coral Isles Church. Everyone has some kind of trauma and the world could use more places like the Sanctuary to heal our wounds and, perhaps most importantly of all, our souls.I'll always hold the Sanctuary near and dear to my heart and want to actively participate in the alumni community.Thank you so much for this lovely and amazing healing experience! All my love,Amy
Entering the Sanctuary I was a person I did not recognize. The following thirty days filled with so many perspectives, modalities, personalities, ways of thinking, ways of not thinking – I am not returning to life healed – I am moving forward to a life I had forgotten I knew how to live. The Sanctuary is staffed by healers of so many backgrounds, with so much to give and receive in any way it need be.I am grateful for this place, the people who have made it what it is; staff and patients alike.Thank you for helping me see what I've needed was within me and the land we walk on.Thank you
Found more healing here in 30 days than in 3 years of typical treatment programs. Energy medicine is wildly underutilized in this field, and Sanctuary is leading the charge into changing that.Big thanks to all the staff who help make this literal Sanctuary possible
I can't say enough good things about this place. Nestled in the outskirts of Sedona, the setting is absolutely magnificent. Each morning you wake up early to hear the desert abuzz with life as you walk to set your daily intention. The Sanctuary was so much more than a respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life in order to collect yourself as you focus on a life free from addiction. Some might scoff that it's too kind and soft to be a recovery center. But I would argue the traditional 12 step programs are the result of a post capitalist world in which these programs are just another cog in a broken healthcare system. Indeed, they practice sick care instead of Healthcare, more motivated to jam the maximum occupancy of residence to come through the doors every month and out the door after 28 days, regardless as to if you're healed or not in hopes that you will return for a second, third, and fourth visit so that they may maximize their profits. That approach wasn't going to work for me.So I found myself in Sedona at the Sanctuary, and can honestly say that not only did it save my life, but it gave me so much more capability to love life and appreciate it. They teach you how to live a wholesome, full, fun, healthy life. I look back on it with such fondness, and only wish that everybody could have the same experience. If you go to the Sanctuary, I guarantee you will leave a better person.Yes, it's expensive but all the best things in life are. Besides what price are you willing to put on the rest of your life?
I had a deeply meaningful experience here and am incredibly grateful for the care and support I received. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, respected, and truly cared for. I have attended the sanctuary twice (8 years apart) and I can say this is the only facility I know of that people actively want to go back to. They have a great option for alumni who need a reboot and to reconnect with the tribe. The team approaches healing in a very thoughtful and comprehensive way, looking beyond surface-level symptoms and helping you better understand yourself and your core wounds on a deeper level. A wise man here once said that the reason you think you show up here, really isn't the reason at all.The environment itself is peaceful and grounding, which made it easier to focus fully on the work. You really do gain a sense of connection to the earth there; the land is special as there has been 20+ years of healing on this land.I appreciated how personalized everything wasthere's a genuine intention to meet you where you are and support real, lasting change. While I prefer to keep the details of my journey private, I can honestly say this experience made a significant impact on my life.If you're considering taking a step toward meaningful change and are open to a more holistic approach, or just open to being open, this place is worth exploring.
Gets the job done! Get here, get real, GET HEALED.
The Sanctuary is a purely magical place where great healing and deep transformation occur. Their uniquely blended holistic approach by far surpasses the traditional treatment model of the past. Great appreciation in my heart for their work, stand, and commitment to people's healing process, growth, and well-being on all levels!
